I will get caught up, honest. I'm sorry that I've really, really fallen behind in posting, but there's a good reason (several good reasons, including major work shifts, but one that I will address here).
See, I don't write the story in order. I work on some parts, and then others, and I skip around. And there are some parts that I tinker with more than others, needless to say.
So there's actually several posts done, just teh ones preceding them aren't done.
So...(drumroll), on August 10, 2009, watch this space! I've set a deadline for myself, n which I hope to dump a lot of posts at once.
See you then!

I'll be waiting. Arg.
Thats cool by me. I am coming from work at 10.08.09, so it would be quite a nice surprise.
I just had a thought, Iron orphan is a friend of a pretty high level druid right? Why doesn't the druid just cast Iron wood on him? Or has that already been done?
I can safely assure, that it has not been done, assuming that the author keeps to the standart 3.5 rules and is not housebrewing.
First and main reason is that (I quote)
"When wearing armor, using a shield, or carrying a medium or heavy load, a monk loses her AC bonus, as well as her fast movement and flurry of blows abilities."
That extra weight will count at least as medium load.

You can safely check it out :)
I am using 3.5, but in all honesty I hadn't thought of the Ironwood spell. On review tho, it only works on objects, so I don't know if it would work on warforged.
Interesting thought though...if you animate a wood object with the proper Wu Jen spell, then have Ironwood cast...
You're giving me ideas, now I have to re-write something!
:-)
